Baby Sydney made her debut to the world on May 17, 2013! She was 5 lbs 14 oz and 18 inches long. Her birth was far from the way I wanted it to all go, and I think it will take me quite awhile to be okay with how everything went, but the main point is she and I are both healthy and happy. I will write about her birth very soon as it was a memorable and crazy time.
For the record, I found writing out my birth story to be INCREDIBLY therapeutic. I still have lots of healing to do, but I am feeling so much better about it after writing it out.
