I feel old.
Why?
Why?
Because I do not understand the purpose of Twitter. I do not know how to Tweet, I do not get why it's a viral phenomenon, and I have no clue what a hashtag is. I keep hearing it everywhere. I keep seeing it everywhere. I don't get it.
I thought this was the extent of my "feeling old"-ness. I was wrong. Now I want to know what these QR codes are. What is the purpose? I'm seeing THEM everywhere too.
I feel like my parents when I say this, but this technology stuff is moving TOO fast for me! I need to start reading up on all of this before I'm lost forever behind the curve! I'm just proud I know how to use my iPhone, and I'm blogging.
Baby steps...that's all I can do!
Haha! I can definitely relate to this post!
ReplyDeleteI don't own an iPhone or SmartPhone; in fact, I don't even know what the difference is between the two (if there is one). Heck, I don't even own an iPod. A computer is the ONLY way I ever access facebook, and I don't think I've even heard of a QR code. I do use Twitter occasionally, though I'm really quite terrible at it.
So please don't feel alone in your oldness. Apparently we're both spinsters in the world of technology. ;-)
I am with Jenny- no iphone or smartphone and have never heard of a QR code. Megan, you are way ahead of me when it comes to technology! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies! You make me feel so much better! I didn't know the name of the "QR code" until I looked it up online. It's that barcode type thing that you scan with your smartphone. I've been seeing them everywhere. I just don't get the purpose of them!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I could have written Jenny's post too. ;)
ReplyDeleteI hate all that stuff. I have a twitter account but I have no idea how to use it! I love the new layout by the way!
